About Suicide Commando

Belgian Johan van Roy, founder of Suicide Commando, is a pioneer in electro-industrial music known for his sinister, aggressive sound. Emerging in the '80s EBM scene alongside Front 242, he achieved success with albums like Mindstrip and Bind, Torture, Kill, creating the "hellektro" style. Collaborating with labels like Dependent and Out of Line, he gained fame with club hits and dark, nihilistic lyrics often exploring themes of serial killers. His works like Forest of the Impaled charted on the German album list, solidifying his influence.
