TAR POND, formed in 2015 by heavy music legends including Celtic Frost’s Martin Ain and Coroner’s Marky Edelmann, blend doom and gloom with brutal, sad soundscapes. Their debut, “Protocol Of Constant Sadness,” honors Ain's legacy and features production by Coroner’s Tommy Vetterli. Known for intense, analogue-recorded tracks like “Please,” they’ve played sold-out shows in unique venues and merge heavy music with visual art through artist Thomas Ott.
