Tetsuji Kimura, born in Tokyo and raised in Yokohama, is an Enka singer recognized for his powerful "Iron Voice." Son of Ichiro Toba and nephew of Yutaka Yamakawa, he continues a musical legacy. He also performs pop as part of the duo Ryutetsu Nikki with his brother Ryuzo. Kimura earned Best New Artist at the Japan Record Awards and Best Enka/Kayokyoku New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. Popular songs include "Nidaime" and "Fujin Raijin." Collaborations include Bando Tamasaburo.
