Formed in San Diego in 1997, The Black Heart Procession is known for their beautifully bleak indie rock. Core members Pall Jenkins and Tobias Nathaniel, also of Three Mile Pilot, are famous for collaborating with various musicians. Their debut album led to a US and European tour. Famed albums include "1," "2," and "Amore del Tropico," with collaborations featuring Joe Plummer and Matt Resovich. After a hiatus, they returned in 2017 for a reissue tour of their 1998 debut album.
