Cinerama, led by David Gedge of The Wedding Present, originated in England in 1998. Known for indie pop infused with film scores, surf guitar, and baroque pop, their sound evolved from orchestral arrangements to rock. Notable albums include "Va Va Voom" (1998) and "Va Va Voom 25" (2024). They gained recognition for their distinct blend of rock guitars with strings and woodwinds.
