The Dears, led by Murray Lightburn and featuring Natalia Yanchak, are a Montreal band known for evolving from orchestral pop to intimate indie pop. Influenced by Serge Gainsbourg, they gained a cult following with albums like "No Cities Left" and "Degeneration Street," both nominated for the Polaris Music Prize. Their lineup has changed frequently, and they've collaborated with artists like Sam Roberts and Jake Clemons.
