About The Drifters

The Drifters, formed by Clyde McPhatter in 1953, became iconic in R&B and pop with hits like "Money Honey" and "There Goes My Baby." They worked with Atlantic Records, producers like Leiber & Stoller, and songwriters Ben E. King. Recognized for lineup changes, their unique string arrangements blended R&B and pop.
