The Macpodz, an Ann Arbor-based jazz quintet, blend rock, jazz, funk, and fusion, taking cues from Miles Davis and Frank Zappa. Formed in 2006 by Brennan Andes and Ross Huff, they made waves with infectious energy and "disco bebop" style. Their debut album, "Genius Food for Super Heroes," was released in 2007, after opening for John Sinclair.
