The Megaphonic Thrift is a Norwegian indie rock band from Bergen known for their eclectic guitar-driven sound. They've toured Europe and North America, playing festivals like SXSW and Roskilde, and toured with Dinosaur Jr. and Band of Horses. Their 2015 album "Sun Stare Sound" won a Spellemann Award. They later shifted to Norwegian lyrics and synth-heavy sounds, collaborating with Njål Paulsberg and Emil Nikolaisen.
