The Philly Pops is an American popular music orchestra based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1979 by theatrical producer Moe Septee and led for decades by Grammy-winning pianist Peter Nero, the group is widely recognized for blending traditional orchestral arrangements with jazz, swing, Broadway, and pop music.
