The Refreshments emerged from Tempe, AZ, with a Southwestern alternative pop/rock style. Known for "Banditos" and the King of the Hill theme, they were local legends but failed nationally. Formed by Roger Clyne, Brian David Blush, Buddy Edwards, and P.H. Naffah, they released albums under Mercury Records before disbanding. Clyne and Naffah then formed Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers.
