Formed in Los Angeles in 1965, the Seeds combined garage rock with trashy psychedelia. Led by vocalist Sky Saxon and guitarist Jan Savage, the band is best known for their 1967 Top 40 rock and roll standard Pushin' Too Hard. They released albums like Web of Sound before disbanding around 1970.
