Rising in the 1960s British blues scene, the Yardbirds, from London, were pioneers in blues, psychedelia, and rock. Known for rave-ups and high-energy solos, they introduced guitar legends Clapton, Beck, and Page. Hits include "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul." Collaborated with artists like Sonny Boy Williamson II and featured in the film Blow Up. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, they later reformed, and their legacy includes a 2003 album, Birdland.
