Born in Henmoor, Thees Uhlmann, frontman of Tomte, launched a solo career post-band hiatus. Known for leading a Hamburg indie pop band and his own top charting albums, he co-founded Grand Hotel Van Cleef and appeared in film. Collaborated with Casper and contributed to a Superpunk tribute.
