Merritt has collaborated with artists like Andrew Bird, Marc Ribot, and Simone Dinnerstein, and won the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest. She released albums such as "Tambourine," "Another Country," and "Stitch of the World," and is well-known for her engaging live performances with The Carbines.
