About Urszula Dudziak

Born in Poland, Urszula Dudziak is a renowned jazz vocalist known for her unique "wordless" singing style and four-and-a-half octave range. Named "jazz singer of the year" by the LA Times in 1979, she collaborated with Gil Evans, performing on albums with Sting and others. Dudziak also worked with Archie Shepp and Bobby McFerrin and featured in the Vienna Art Orchestra's "Artistry in Rhythm." Her collaborations include a seven-year partnership with Walk Away and an album of jazz Christmas carols, showcasing Polish folk, rock, and classical influences.
