American glam-metal band Vain formed in 1986 in the San Francisco Bay Area, led by vocalist Davy Vain. Island Records released their 1988 debut No Respect. Later albums include Move on It (1994), Fade (1995), Enough Rope (2011), and Rolling with the Punches (2017).
