Vesna Zmijanac, born in Nikšić, Montenegro, is a Serbian folk and turbo-folk icon, known as the "Queen of Sadness" for her emotional ballads. Debuting in 1979, she sold over 6.7 million records. Popular songs include "Kad zamirišu jorgovani" (with Dino Merlin), "Nevera moja," and "Svatovi." She received a Life Achievement Award in 2019 and was named National Music Artist of Serbia in 2020. Her album "Sokol" was released in 2011.
