Yasmine Hamdan rose to fame co-founding Beirut indie electronic duo Soapkills in the late 1990s. After moving to Paris (2005), she formed Y.A.S. with Mirwais, releasing Arabology (2009). Solo albums include Ya Nass (2013) and Al Jamilat (2017).
