About Young Knives

Young Knives, an English indie rock band from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, formed in the mid-1990s. Known for their angular post-punk revival sound and sharp, often satirical lyrics, they gained recognition with their Mercury Prize-nominated album "Voices of Animals and Men". Popular songs include "Here Comes the Rumour Mill" and "She's Attracted To". They maintain an independent ethos, releasing albums like "Barbarians" (2020) and "Landfill" (2025).
