Zabranjeno Pušenje, formed in 1980 in Sarajevo's Koševo district, is renowned for its garage rock style. Original members included Dr. Karajlić and Sejo Sexon. They were pivotal in the Sarajevo club scene and influenced bands like Crvena Jabuka.
