Finnish guitarist Andy McCoy, born in Pelkosenniemi, shot to fame with glam metal band Hanoi Rocks ('81-'84) and penned hits like "Bangkok Shocks". Post-Hanoi, he explored projects like Suicide Twins and issued several solo albums. Known for his Keith Richards-inspired style and collaborations including Iggy Pop.
