Maryland-based Dying Fetus melds technical death metal with hardcore to create distinct American grindcore. Known for hits like "Reign Supreme" and "Wrong One to Fuck With," the band has charted on Billboard and maintained a strong underground presence. Formed in 1991 by John Gallagher, they overcame lineup changes to release their aggressive ninth album in 2023.

Canadian folk-rock band The Abrams, formed by siblings John and James, blends bluegrass, country, and indie rock. Known for original songs and Bob Dylan tributes, they are the youngest Canadians to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
