KRS-One, born Kris Parker, led '80s hardcore hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions. Known for politically charged raps, he transitioned to a harder style in the '90s. Collaborated with MC Shan, Marley Marl; celebrated for preserving hip-hop's golden age.

Born in Philadelphia, DJ Jazzy Jeff is a pioneering DJ known for the Transformer scratch & Grammy wins with Will Smith. He founded A Touch of Jazz, produced for Jill Scott, & released celebrated albums including the Magnificent series.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn, Chubb Rock, a late '80s and early '90s rap icon, known for hits like "Treat 'Em Right". Worked with Howie Tee and featured on Crooklyn Dodgers '95.
