A Candlelight concert in Copenhagen sets live classical music against the soft glow of hundreds of candles, giving familiar works an intimate acoustic setting inside distinctive city venues.
Among the locations hosting these performances are Odd Fellow Palæet, a neoclassical mansion on Bredgade with a grand historic concert hall, and Dronningesalen in Den Sorte Diamant, a modern hall in the waterfront library complex overlooking the harbour.
Programmes cover a wide range of styles to suit different listeners.
