Future Islands, Baltimore-based synth-pop band, began as Art Lord & the Self-Portraits at ECU in 2003. Known for the 2014 hit "Seasons" on Letterman, they've collaborated with Debbie Harry and released albums like "Singles" and "The Far Field."

Julie Byrne, a folk singer-songwriter from western New York, is known for her evocative, poetic style and songs of love and loss. Famous for "Not Even Happiness," Byrne integrates nature into her music, creating a unique blend of guitar and warm vocals.
