Philadelphia's The Hooters, led by Rob Hyman & Eric Bazilian, are known for '80s hits like "And We Danced." They inspired Cyndi Lauper's "She's So Unusual" & Joan Osborne's "One of Us." Known for their rock, folk, & ska blend, they first formed from Baby Grand.

Tommy Tutone, an '80s power pop band led by Tommy Heath and Jim Keller, hit fame with "867-5309/Jenny." The song peaked at #4 and went gold, but the band couldn't replicate its success and split after 1983.
