Formed in Brooklyn in 2004, Woods is known for their unique blend of indie rock. With their own label Woodsist and festival, they've collaborated with members like Jarvis Taveniere and John Andrews, evolving their sound over nearly two decades.

Born near Baltimore, David Portner of Animal Collective helped pioneer experimental pop. Known for solo works like "Pullhair Rubeye" and "Cows on Hourglass Pond", plus collaborations with artists like David Grubbs and Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir.
