FreshGrass Festival: Lukas Nelson and Promise Of The Real Rhiannon Giddens & Mighty Poplar - Sunday in North Adams, MA

Rhiannon Giddens, a GRAMMY-winning artist, blends folk with deep history and modern flair. Born in North Carolina, she co-founded Carolina Chocolate Drops and leads the Silkroad Ensemble. Known for her collaborations with Francesco Turrisi and the Silkroad Ensemble, Giddens has also won a Pulitzer Prize. She hosts a PBS show and two podcasts, and is set to launch the Biscuits & Banjos festival.

Mighty Poplar features Andrew Marlin, Noam Pikelny, Chris Eldridge, Greg Garrison, and Alex Hargreaves, delivering classic bluegrass with a spontaneous spirit in Nashville.

Born over a decade ago, Nelson is known for his Americana and alt-country style. His 2023 album topped the charts, and he's a sought-after collaborator, working with The Travelin’ McCourys, Sierra Ferrell, Miranda Lambert, and more. He co-produced and co-wrote for "A Star is Born," winning a Grammy and BAFTA.
