Max Cavalera, born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is a heavy metal icon. He co-founded Sepultura, pioneering Brazilian thrash and groove metal with aggressive vocals and tribal rhythms. He also leads Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Nailbomb, and Killer Be Killed. Known for songs like "Roots Bloody Roots" and "Eye for an Eye," he has collaborated with many artists. His work includes re-recordings of early Sepultura albums and releases with Soulfly.
The Haunt is a sibling-fronted alt-rock band from South Florida, featuring Anastasia Grace Haunt on vocals and Maxamillion "Max" Haunt on guitar and production. Known for their cinematic alt-rock sound, blending industrial menace with soul-scorched vocals, they released their debut album "New Addiction" in July 2025. The band is currently touring and recently unveiled their single "Ghost" in March 2026.
UK thrash metal pioneers Onslaught, formed in 1982, are famed for albums like *Power From Hell* and anthems like "Killing Peace." They’ve toured 70+ countries and entered the Metal Hall of Fame in 2022.
Formed 1983 in Sarasota, Florida, Crimson Glory are US heavy/prog metal pioneers; classic lineup led by Midnight, with Drenning/Jackson; rose in mid-80s.
