Oakfest is Back for 2024!

Donegal’s family-friendly festival returns with a musical line-up featuring some of the country’s best musical talent. The two-day live music festival takes place in the heart of Donegal on the 7th & 8th of September 2024, offering two very different line-ups across two stages to keep you entertained all day and into the night.

Saturday, 7th September

Headlining Day 1, Saturday 7th September, is Chris Norman, the original lead singer of Smokie. This British soft rock singer, known for his solo hits in the '80s and hits with Smokie in the '70s, will perform classics like "Oh Carol," "Mexican Girl," "For A Few Dollars More," "I’ll Meet You at Midnight," and "Living Next Door to Alice."

Up next, English glam rock band MUD, formed in February 1966, will belt out their hits including "Dynamite" & "Tiger Feet," having had 14 UK Top 20 hits between 1973 and 1976, including 3 number ones!

D: REAM will take the stage next, with their 1993 hit "Things Can Only Get Better," which sold over 600,000 copies.

English rock band Top Loader, famous for their chart-topping hit "Dancing in the Moonlight," with over two million album sales and several top 20 hits both home and abroad, are guaranteed to entertain.

Back by popular demand once again is Rory & The Island, an Oakfest favorite. This super performer and Donegal singer/songwriter will entertain like only Rory can!

The Pontius Pilots from Strabane, Co. Tyrone, celebrating their 15th anniversary, have established themselves as one of Ireland’s premier covers bands. With performance experience across Japan, Australia, and prestigious music festival stages like Glastonbury and Hyde Park, they will impress with their musical talents.

The sensational local band Sheerbuzz, known for their high-energy indie alt-rock, will complete the line-up on Saturday.

Sunday, 8th September

Day 2 of Oakfest brings a host of international tribute acts. Direct from Sweden, Arrival! will celebrate the music of Abba, having sold out the SSE, Millennium Forum, Derry, and fresh from Brighton, where they celebrated 50 years of Abba performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Arrival from Sweden includes musicians who performed on stage with the original band.

Mack Fleetwood will take you on a magical musical journey from the Peter Green blues era to the multi-platinum selling band that still tours today.

Experience the magic and excitement of a live Queen concert with headliners Supersonic Queen. This 5-piece band delivers the best Queen tribute, praised by audiences of all ages and die-hard Queen fans alike.

Alecia Karr, an official tribute to Pink and endorsed by Pink’s official fan page, will perform her tribute, having been recognized for her incredible likeness to the artist and identical stage costumes since 2005.

Lauren Porter as Taylor Swift will cover all the country pop star's hits with dazzling costumes, high energy, and an amazing stage presence.

Mairead Rooney as Shania Twain will bring to life the music of the Canadian Superstar with impeccable vocals and stage presence, capping off a fantastic day of music.
