Canadian guitarist Colin James is an 8-time Juno and 31-time Maple Blues Award winner with 21 studio albums and multi-platinum sales. His 1988 debut was Canada’s fastest-selling album, spawning hits “Voodoo Thing” and “Five Long Years.”
Starship formed in 1985 after a lawsuit with Paul Kantner, shifting to polished pop/rock. Known for No. 1 hits "We Built This City," "Sara" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now"; album Knee Deep in the Hoopla went Top 10, platinum.
Haywire is a Canadian band from Prince Edward Island, formed in 1982 by Marvin Birt, Paul MacAusland, David Rashed and Ron Switzer, later joined by drummer Sean Kilbride. Signed to Attic Records, they released Bad Boys (1986) and four more albums.
