Travis Tritt, born in Marietta, Georgia, blends Southern rock, blues, and gospel into his country music. With two GRAMMYs, four CMA Awards, and seven platinum albums, Tritt's hits like "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde" and "Here's A Quarter" have solidified his place among the 'Class of '89' alongside Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. Beyond music, he has appeared in films and TV shows.
Jo Dee Messina, from Framingham, MA, became a '90s country star with crossover appeal. Known for hits like "Heads Carolina, Tails California" and "Bye Bye," she collaborated with Tim McGraw. Her 1998 album "I'm Alright" made her the first female country artist with three multi-week number ones from a single album. She earned accolades from CMA and ACM and her 2000 album "Burn" went number one. Later, she launched her label, Dreambound Records.
Brad Paisley, a celebrated country artist, has won 3 GRAMMYs, 2 AMAs, 15 ACMs, and 14 CMAs, including Entertainer of the Year. Known for hits like "Whiskey Lullaby" and his co-hosting with Carrie Underwood, he's also a Grand Ole Opry member since 2001.
