Rock is one of the most popular musical genres of the modern era. It is also a broad all-encompassing genre with countless subgenres and fusion genres. Rock started out as rock and roll in the ‘40s and ‘50s, a genre that was derived from blues and R&B. Rock was also influenced by electric blues, jazz, country, and folk.

Get close to the stage but not too close – the sound quality is best when you stand a bit further away, even though you would want to be close to your favorite artist. If it is an outdoor concert, the lawn seats at the back are great for relaxing, although the sound could be muffled at that distance.
