Winner of 20 Grammy Awards in varied categories, he debuted with "Bright Size Life" in 1976 and achieved gold with "Still Life (Talking)" and "Letter from Home." Notable collaborations include Lyle Mays and the Pinpeat Orchestra. Metheny is an NEA Jazz Master and continues to innovate with projects like Side-Eye NYC.
