Sister Sledge, formed in North Philadelphia, gained fame with "We Are Family," a platinum hit produced by Chic's Nile Rodgers. Known for blending pop-R&B, Philly soul, funk, and disco, they topped the UK charts with "Frankie." Active since the '70s, they continue to perform.

English band Stornoway, from Oxford University, mixes folk-pop with elements like Baroque and psychedelia. Known for lyric-driven songs like "Zorbing," they hit UK top charts with their debut "Beachcomber's Windowsill." Disbanded in 2016, re-formed in 2022, released "Dig the Mountain!" in 2023.

Formed in 1978, UK band Dexys (formerly Dexys Midnight Runners) hit #1 with "Geno." Known for the megahit "Come On Eileen" and albums like "Too Rye Ay." Their style evolved from horn-led to folk and Celtic influences, enjoying critical acclaim and a strong fanbase.
