Atlanta-based R&B group 112, founded by Michael Keith and mentored by Sean “Puffy” Combs, rose to fame with double Platinum albums "112" and "Room 112." Known for hits like “Cupid” and “Only You” featuring Notorious B.I.G. and Mase, they thrived during a VERZUZ battle against Jagged Edge. With Grammy accolades and a lasting legacy, 112 remains a celebrated name in R&B.
Next, hailing from Minneapolis, became late-'90s R&B icons with hits like "Too Close" and "Wifey." Known for suggestive lyrics and gospel-influenced harmonies, they achieved multi-platinum success with "Rated Next" under Arista. The group, mentored by Reverand James Grear, and Sounds of Blackness' Ann Nesby, worked with producers like KayGee and Darren Lighty. They released three albums before splitting in 2003. They reunited in 2018 with original members RL, T-Low, and Tweet.
Carl Thomas, an R&B singer born in Aurora, Illinois, gained fame with his album 'Emotional,' featuring hits "I Wish" & "Summer Rain." Discovered by P. Diddy, he's known for his smooth style & has collaborated with icons like LL Cool J and 2Pac. Grammy-nominated for "Everyday (Family Reunion)."
Indianapolis-born R&B singer KeKe Wyatt is known for romantic, soulful music. She rose with hits alongside Avant, earned a gold debut album, starred on TV shows, and covers classics.
Born Charlene Keys, Tweet soared with Timbaland and Missy Elliott in 2002. Known for "Oops (Oh My)," she hit R&B charts with albums 'Southern Hummingbird' and 'It’s Me Again.'
