Formed in Tsawwassen, British Columbia in 1981, Vancouver alt-rock band 54-40 broke through with 1987’s Show Me. Platinum albums Dear Dear and Smilin’ Buddha Cabaret spawned hits “Nice to Luv You,” “She La,” and signature song “Ocean Pearl.” Led by Neil Osborne.
