Asha Bhosle, born in Sangli, Maharashtra, is a legendary Indian playback singer celebrated for her remarkable versatility across genres including film, pop, ghazals, and classical music. She has recorded over 12,000 songs in numerous languages. Her iconic hits include "Piya Tu Ab To Aaja" and "Chura Liya Hai Tumne". Bhosle received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan, and holds a Guinness World Record as the most recorded artist. She collaborated with R.D. Burman, Boy George, and Michael Stipe.
