AK-69, born Hiroki Takeshi in Komaki, Aichi, Japan, is a celebrated Japanese hip-hop MC. Also known as Kalassy Nikoff for his R&B style, he is a pioneer in the genre. He earned "Independent Artist of the Year" at the Billboard Japan Awards and was the first Japanese artist to sign with Def Jam Recordings. His discography includes "The Red Magic" and collaborations with artists like Fabolous and Toshi (X Japan).
