Al Green, born in Forrest City, Arkansas, is a legendary R&B singer known for his smooth soul and falsetto. Raised in Michigan, he gained fame with hits like "Tired of Being Alone," "Let's Stay Together," and "I'm Still in Love with You." Collaborating with producer Willie Mitchell at Hi Records, he created iconic Memphis funk. After personal challenges, he became a minister while still releasing music, earning a duet with Annie Lennox in 1988 and a Grammy-winning career.
