Breton Celtic musician Alan Stivell (born Alan Cochevelou) helped revive the Breton harp from the late 1960s. Blending traditional material with folk-rock and progressive rock, he released Renaissance of the Celtic Harp (1972) and Celtic Symphony (1979).
