Alcest and Bruit

Founded by Neige in 2000, ALCEST, joined by drummer Winterhalter in 2009, are pioneers of blackgaze. Known for albums like “Le Secret” and “Shelter”, their sound blends post-metal with shoegaze. "Kodama" (2016) drew inspiration from "Princess Mononoke". Their 2019 album "Spiritual Instinct" via Nuclear Blast showcases their unique style.

BRUIT ≤ is a post-rock/modern classical quartet from Toulouse, France, known for emotively intense, expansive instrumental compositions. They fuse varied genres, including ambient electronica, creating progressive, genre-subverting music. Notable releases include the EPs "Monolith" (2018) and "Apologie du Temps Perdu, Vol. 1" (2023), and albums "The Machine is Burning and Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again" (2021) and "The Age of Ephemerality" (2025). They have performed at festivals like Roadburn and Arctangent and toured with M83.
