He is celebrated for his high-energy performances, celebrity parodies of figures like Niki Lauda, and satirical storytelling. Kristan won "Österreich sucht den Comedy Star" in 2004, received the Österreichischer Kabarettpreis in 2023 for "50 Shades of Schmäh", and was awarded the "Salzburger Stier 2025".
