A co-music director of BBC's Transatlantic Sessions, his sound features on 1500+ albums, solidifying his influence in Americana and bluegrass.
Alison Krauss, born in Champaign, IL, is a renowned bluegrass artist. With silky vocals and fiddle skills, she blends bluegrass, country, and pop. Her 1995 compilation "Now That I've Found You" made her a mainstream star. Krauss, a Grammy winner, collaborated with Robert Plant on "Raising Sand" and its sequel "Raise the Roof." Notable works include "Too Late to Cry," "I've Got That Old Feeling," and the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack. Her band, Union Station, has been a key part of her success.
Willie Watson, a founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show, is a folk and Americana staple. Known for his rural tenor, his debut album tells raw stories of heartbreak and hope.
