Amanda Palmer is known for her punk cabaret work with The Dresden Dolls and her solo projects. Her album *Theatre Is Evil* hit Billboard's top 10, funded via Kickstarter. She presented a popular TED talk that expanded into a best-selling memoir, *The Art of Asking*. Using Patreon, she has continued producing art with significant fan support. Her 2019 album, *There Will Be No Intermission*, explores deep themes, and she collaborated with John Congleton. She lived in New Zealand for 2.5 years post-Covid.
