Aaron Copland was an American composer, composition teacher, writer, and conductor who was referred to by his peers and critics as the "Dean of American Music." Known for creating a distinctly American sound by incorporating jazz and folk elements, his most famous works include the ballets Appalachian Spring, Billy the Kid, and Rodeo, as well as Fanfare for the Common Man.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), born in Salzburg, Austria, was a classical child prodigy. He composed over 600 masterpieces across genres like opera, symphony, and chamber music. Known for his elegant, balanced style, his famous works include "The Marriage of Figaro," "Don Giovanni," "The Magic Flute," and Symphony No. 40. He is considered one of Western music's greatest composers.
GRAMMY Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell has performed with virtually every major orchestra worldwide. Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, he earned Musical America’s 2010 Instrumentalist of the Year and the 2007 Avery Fisher Prize.
