David Geffen Hall, located within the complex that encompasses Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, is SO beautiful. This venue is incredible, I recently attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law's 55th Annual Commencement in this concert hall and it was a really lovely event. The seating is situated nicely and there is adequate leg room between rows/seats. The staff operating within the venue are really kind & accommodating. There is a great bar area located inside and the design + atmosphere of the common space is so pretty. If you're considering coming here for a show or an event, I highly recommend a visit! UPDATE (2/12/2024): I was finally able to attend a New York Philharmonic show at David Geffen Hall, and I'm pleased to share that the experience was absolutely amazing!! As noted in my original review, the space is incredible in itself - but, what blew me away this time was the acoustics of the venue. The whole experience was excellent, I highly recommend event attendance at this concert hall!

My first visit to David Geffen Hall left an indelible mark on me. From its grand architecture to the impeccable acoustics, every aspect of the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The orchestra's performance was captivating, and the sense of community among fellow concert-goers added to the magic of the evening. I left with a newfound appreciation for the theater and a desire to return to this iconic venue again soon.

First time seeing the New York Philharmonic and it was fantastic! Went to see Andrés Orozco-Estrada, and he was a joy to watch! All the musicians and soloists were top tier, and the music selection was a good balance of recognizable and new.

My wife & I + my parents experienced the most magical evening of music at the Wu Tsai theater. The @nyphilharmonic under the baton of Jaap von Zweden created the most moving rendition of Beethoven's 5th symphony we have ever heard or experienced. Conrad Tao performance of Mozart 's piano concerto #17 was breath taking- such a talented musician. Mendelssohn 's Hebrides overture was moving & a wonderful opening piece for the evening. Thank you NY philharmonic for a world class evening of music- Wednesday March 13th 2024

I find the new Geffen Hall to be s misfire. With great seats, I thought the acoustics could have been much better. If you are having trouble hearing soloists and a full chorus during the Hallelujah Chorus, something is wrong. The hotel look is subpar, and the sheer lack of warmth is unfortunate. Also, they need a decent gift shop, a la the Met Opera.
