Formed in Tunbridge Wells, England in 1979, the Anti-Nowhere League is a provocative UK punk band known for their biker-gang image and the controversial 1981 B-side So What, which police confiscated for obscenity. They released their debut album, We Are...The League, in 1982. Metallica later famously covered So What and invited frontman Animal to perform it live with them.
