Formed in Toronto in 1978, Anvil are Canadian heavy metal pioneers whose speedier, heavier sound helped lay groundwork for thrash. Albums Metal on Metal (1982) and Forged in Fire (1983) boosted their cult status.

Don Jamieson

American comedian Don Jamieson is known for blending humor with heavy metal and rock culture. He co-hosted VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" and earned an Emmy Award for his work on HBO's "Inside the NFL". His stand-up albums, including "Live & Hilarious" and "Hell Bent for Laughter," charted on Billboard. He also collaborated with Jim Florentine and opened for Andrew Dice Clay.
